I am so excited to join you this new year!
As we have witnessed recently, life can get messy. It’s during those stressful situations we retreat back into old habits that may not align with our desires to become healthier.
This year you deserve more!
When considering your fitness goals, please be honest about the real challenges in life that get you off track.
- Are you working from home?
- Do you have small children that consume time and energy?
- How about older children you shuttle to and from practices?
- Have chronic pain?
- Does your job require extra hours leaving you with little time for yourself?
- Not enjoying the gym as much as you used to?
- Can’t even go to the gym right now?
Regardless of your current situation, I can make your desire a reality. Take an honest look at your current health. What are you wanting for yourself as you embark on this fitness journey?
Here are a few tips to get you started:
- Commit to making personal fitness a priority. You deserve it and so do those you love. Envision how much better you will feel by taking care of yourself. Imagine having more energy and being more confident.
- Start small. Consider a realistic yet subtle change that you are willing to make today or even this week. Choose a healthy habit you can add to your day. Remember, you are not focusing on what you should deny yourself.
- Something is better than nothing. You are more likely to stick with your health plan if you keep this in mind. Look for opportunities each day to make better health and fitness decisions.
Perfection is not the goal, progress is.
I want to help you develop new routines and habits that fit your personality, but also allow for flexibility as you face the reality of daily life and occasional roadblocks. I want this year to be the year to make yourself a priority and stick with the plan to become healthier and fitter in 2021.
Remember, you are not alone. Redigo Coaching is here when you need me. Watch for my next blog. I will spend more time helping you unpack how you can apply these tips to your life.
